Susan O., also known as Scrappy Doo 2 U, is from Mississippi where she resides with her husband and two beautiful young boys, Adrian and Alex. She has been with Scrapbook Supplies Direct since January 2007, where she moderates the ScrapChat Forum, ScrapGallery, ScrapClassifieds and Scrapper Blogs. Susan began scrapbooking before the birth of her first son as she explains, "I started scrapbooking during my first pregnancy, but after about a year I became bored with it because the products available were so limited at the time. Scrapbooking and Papercrafting still were still in my heart, but I just couldn't create with the limitations of the market at that time. I regained interest in scrapping in 2000 since the industry had changed so drastically. Now I'm Addicted !!!!". 	Design Team Call

Now that we have the shell of our final site released and have reached the point that we are adding stock to our shopping area... We have opened up our Scrabook Design Team! This call is open to all scrapbookers, regardless of previous design team experience. Simply follow the guidelines below and give it a try! And in addition to our long term design team, we are also deploying our monthly guest designer program too! Secure your Design Team position with Scrapbook Supplies Direct today!

Scrapbook Supplies Direct The Scrapbook Design Team • Apply for the Scrapbooking Design Team •

	1. Sign up for membership at ScrapChat (if you're not already a member)
	2. Showcase some of your work by uploading some of your current layouts, cards or altered art items* to the ScrapGallery, the more the merrier, we want to see your style, versatility, attention to detail, personality, etc. - and we have lots of room, so show us your stuff! *New members please note that you will need to activate your own personal gallery once you complete registration.
	3. Send site management a batch of chocolate chip cookies (some say this is optional)
	4. Email the Design Administration the following information:
		• Your name and User ID • Your location** • Website address of your current blog, website & galleries, if any • Brief history or bio about yourself • A short list of any major tools that you have & might use in your creations, such as a Cricut or Sizzix Machine
	For the purpose of applying for the Design Team position(s), previously published works may be uploaded provided that you make clear and concise notation: "Previously published work". Please do not post work created from layout kits that you created by following a pattern and recipe (creations made from material only kits are acceptable). *Currently our call is limited to Domestic USA residents unless other arrangements have been made. Great Britain and Canadian residents may inquire using our contact form or through the ScrapChat Forum.

Just the Short and Skinny of it... This is an ongoing call for the Guest Design Team Member - Each month we will accept submissions from the 1st thru the 15th, announce the winner on or before the 20th, and mail out our Designer's Kit Package on or about the 25th of that month for the Guest Designer to begin their creative reign from the first to the last day of the following month. And, once per quarter (4 times per year) this call is expanded for a long term Design Team Member - In March, June, September and December we will select two Designers - One will be a long term Design Team Member and one will be Guest Designer. The long term Designer will reign for a minimum of three months, possibly as long as six months. First calendar quarter: Jan, Feb, March [apply in March] Second calendar quarter: April, May, June [apply in May] Third calendar quarter: July, August, September [apply in August] Fourth calendar quarter: October, November, December [apply in November] ...or apply every month and have fun with it!


Scrapbook Supplies Direct • Scrapbooking Design Team Beniperks & Requirements •

	1.Designer must commit to the Design Team terms, applicable time frame and fulfill the necessary requirements.
	2. As a Design Team Member you must participate in our ScrapChat Forum, upload layouts & projects to our ScrapGallery, add tips, tricks or techniques to our ScrapCentral Resource Center and/or participate in our monthly challenges and contests, and in general be a participating member of Scrapbook Supplies Direct.
	3. You should be available for any one of the following, which will depend on what activities Scrapbook Supplies Direct is doing for the particular quarter you are a DT Member: Write a short article related to scrapbooking* (this can be an editorial, a how to or "anything scrapbook") for our ScrapCentral Main Area*, participate in a weekend-fest, participate in a cyber-crop, participate in a chat, create a (very) short scrapbook technique video or something similar. We are a small site and growing so any meaningful contribution will be considered.
	4. Designer must create several projects that include scrapbook layouts, cards or altered art items (typically three or four) for each month in which they receive a Designer's Kit.
	5. With each project created the Designer must submit a basic recipe card (we know what's in the kit) along with sensible directions to Design Administration.
	6. Upon posting your completed projects and forwarding the necessary recipe and directions to the Design Administration, your page design might be converted into a page kit for sale within the site - If this is done your finished project will be photographed (or the photo you provide will be reproduced), the materials used in the kit will be cut and/or assembled as needed, appropriately labeled and recreated in limited quantities for posting in the shopping area of our website - Once the kits are sold out they will not be recreated. If your layout is chosen for a kit, it will bear a copyright with your name, your screen name and Scrapbook Supplies Direct's name and logo. In addition to this copyright, you will receive three points for each kit sold. You can use these points as cash in our shopping area for any product of your choice. Each Designer will receive a basic consent form for this page kit conversion, and our kit creation is applicable to designs created by Scrapbook Supplies Direct Designers using kits furnished by Scrapbook Supplies Direct.
	7. Each Design Team Member will receive a short bio page (like this one without all the DT Call info) that includes images of or links to the pages the Designer has created and posted on our site, that will remain published for a minimum of twelve months. This page is designed by information given to us by the Designer. Links to personal websites, blogs and galleries can be included if the Designer chooses to have it added, and the page is included in our site configuration to be spidered by search engine bots, which will help boost your popularity among the different search engines by furnishing a positive backlink.
	8. The Designer will receive one "I am a Scraptastic Designer" t-shirt with the Scrapbook Supplies Direct logo on it and a graphic for their signatures, blogs and websites.
	9. Designer will also receive a store discount during their term on the Scrapbook Supplies Direct Design Team.
	10. Designer will include information about their position on the Scrapbook Supplies Direct Design Team and site on their personal sites, blogs or other areas where appropriate. We will provide our logo graphic and appropriate html as needed.

	*Any written articles, how to's or tips/tricks submitted will always bear the author's name for appropriate credit
